The Ask
Support the client to improve the level of accuracy and access within their chatbot functionality for South African and Indian audiences specifically.
Our Solution
To tackle this challenge, we focused on adding support for Hinglish-speaking females – a combination of English and Hindi. This involved utilising various machine learning techniques to improve chatbot responsiveness. The algorithms were trained on broader datasets to advance the chatbot’s ability to interpret sentiment and intent, providing a much more tailored response for these markets.
Impact
The chatbot now operates on a multi-lingual basis and can provide vulnerable young women with the support and guidance they need when accessing the platforms online.
